We’ve put together a special 8 pack with 4 of our latest specialty offerings and 2 of most popular flagships beers and 2 of our newest.  You’ll have your option to pickup your sample pack and take it home to taste in the privacy of your home and enjoy the tasting via zoom, or you can join us onsite at the brewery.  Zoom link will be provided via email the day of the event.  16oz. branded can glass included while supplies last.

Specialty Releases

We have 3 Collaborations to share and one beer from our own Cellar Series for this round of specialty releases.  We’ll be tasting a fruited sour, a country lager, a hazy triple IPA and a Munich Dunkel.

Here’s a brief summary of the flavor profiles:
Birds of a Feather – Collaboration with Sankofa Brewing, DC – This fruited sour was brewed with millet from Grouse Malt House, hit with loads of mango & passion fruit before being conditioned on in-house toasted coconut. Big notes of passion fruit on the nose, with sweet & mellow coconut balancing a pleasantly puckering tartness. 6.6% abv.

Shuriken – Collaboration with Hopstix Brewpub, Chamblee, GA –  This easy drinking Franconian style country lager was brewed with Chit and Rye malt from Riverbend Malt House in Asheville, NC. Warm toasty bread with a slightly earthy spice builds a clean and crisp malt backbone. Additions of Tettnang in the boil and Styrian Cardinal at whirlpool and also a light dry hop give off notes of lime zest, jasmine, a touch of pineapple, strawberry, along with some slightly savory dill, 5.5% abv.

First and Last – Collaboration with Thompson Island Brewing Co., Rehoboth Beach, DE – Triple IPA was brewed with a simple grist loaded up with White Wheat and Flaked Oats, and dosed with Sabro Incognito in the whirlpool, providing a soft, tropical base from the hop character. We fermented it with Omega Yeast’s Cosmic Punch thiolizing yeast, and dry hopped with Simcoe and Cascade, creating a juicy hop driven yeast character reminiscent of fresh oranges and mango, and then layered on a heavy dose of Mosaic and Sabro over two more dry hops, resulting in big notes of peaches, lime, coconut, and sweet lychee. Deceptively drinkable.  9.5% abv.

Cellar Series – Munich Dunkel – 5.2 abv. – A dark lager with a deep malt backbone, flavors of graham crackers, well toasted bread, chewy toffee, slight sweet chocolate, clean crisp backend finish, with a balancing slight hop bitterness hitting mid palate.

Flagship Beers

We decided to share 2 of our most popular flagships and our 2 newest members of the lineup.  We’ll be tasting a saison, an IPA, a sour beer and an American Lager.

Here’s a brief summary of the flavor profiles you can look forward to:

Peppercorn Saison – a Farmhouse Ale conditioned with Green, White and Pink Peppercorns- 6.5% ABV –
Slightly sweet fruity nose, hints of grass and coriander, smooth underlying bitterness, clean dry finish, smooth lingering citrus notes.

Ghost – India Pale Ale – A northeastern style IPA – 5.9% ABV – Bright, light, citrusy and crisp with a lingering hop bitterness. Featuring CTZ, Amarillo, Citra & Simcoe hops.

Can’t You See the Sunshine – Tart Farmhouse Ale with Lime – This tart farmhouse ale with lime is a new member of our core lineup for spring and summer.  Can’t You See the Sunshine is brewed in two steps to give it just a little bit of tartness and a brite lime finish.  There isn’t a more perfect beer for sitting on the porch enjoying the sunshine. 4.8% abv.

Chillum Lite – American Lager – Also a new member of the core lineup – Our take on the classic American Light Lager. Brewed with Flaked Corn and Flaked Rice, and very lightly hopped with Tettnang in the boil, this 4.7% abv crusher of a beer is crisp, clean, and exceedingly drinkable.
